Giulio Speranza (Rome, 1980) is a professional photographer and holds a PhD in Geological Sciences. His work focuses on mountain landscape photography, using large‑format view cameras and black‑and‑white film. His photographs have been featured on the official websites of Linhof and Sinar; he is a JOBO Artisan partner as well as an ambassador for StenopeiKa large‑format cameras. He regularly teaches large‑format photography, view‑camera technique, and landscape photography, and leads workshops and photo‑trekking sessions throughout Italy and abroad. In addition to various exhibitions and publications in both national and international magazines, he has published the books Gran Sasso d’Italia (2020), Majella Madre (2023), and Le mie Montagne (2025). In 2023 he was awarded Photographer of the Year at the Tonino Di Venanzio Award. He is currently working on the project Dolomiti Interiori and on the series Intermezzo.

Il suo lavoro si concentra sulla fotografia paesaggistica di montagna utilizzando banchi ottici e pellicole bianco e nero di grande formato. I suoi lavori sono stati presentati sui siti ufficiali di Linhof e Sinar, è partner di JOBO Artisan nonché ambassador delle fotocamere grande formato a marchio StenopeiKa. Insegna regolarmente fotografia di grande formato, banco ottico e fotografia paesaggistica. Tiene workshop e fototrekking in varie parti d’Italia e all’estero. Oltre a varie esposizioni e pubblicazioni su riviste sia nazionali che internazionali, ha pubblicato i libri “Gran Sasso d’Italia” (2020), “Majella Madre” (2023) e "Le mie Montagne" (2025). Nel 2023 ha vinto il premio di fotografo dell’anno al Tonino Di Venanzio award. Attualmente è impegnato nel progetto "Dolomiti Interiori" e nella serie "Intermezzo".
